- Getting more out of school, work or sport
- Gaming that has started to take over
- Living with type 1 diabetes
- Working out who you are and what matters to you
How I work
Overall, my approach is neuroaffirming and strengths-based. I mainly use three approaches:
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This involves working out what matters to you and building your life around it even when hard thoughts and feelings show up.
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Noticing the patterns in how you think, feel and act and testing out changes.
- Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS). This involves understanding the perspective of a carer and a young person and solving problems together so the solutions are ones everyone can live with.
